louisville Kentucky Bank of America Complaint

Friday, June 29th, 2012

Bank of America reported to all 3 credit burueas for April and May 2011 that we were 30 days late. Brian started SCRA covered 10/1/10 and ends 12/1/12. Not only that during 2011 we recieved several letters threatening foreclosure and intent to accelerate. I feel this is harrassment.

North Carolina Homecomings Financial Complaint

Friday, June 29th, 2012

Lender changed the information on the loan. Income was exaggerated and there was no way that BEFORE the interest rate went up much less after the interest rate went up the payments could be made. The lender added fees to the payments. The lender agreed to accept payments to stop the foreclosure and after the payments were made the home was foreclosed anyway. The homeowner was a disabled adult who received the home from her parents estate. The homeowner was looking for a little money to do repairs on the home and was loaned way more than the home was worth at payments and an interest rate that was not what was originally discussed. Was informed that she would have to pay an outrageous \”loan application fee\” if she did not accept the loan as written. Her fixed income was approximately $800 and her mortgage payments ballooned to over $500 not including all the added fees.

Sacramento Select Bank of America Complaint

Friday, June 29th, 2012

We sold our home as a short sale 11/23/2010 Bank of America approved the short sale and we received 1099 for the difference between purchase price and sale price ( -$200K). We are looking to buy another home and had our lender pull our credit. BofA has been reporting to the 3 credit reporting bureas that we still own the home and the 1st mortgage is current and the 2nd purchase money mortgage is not paid off but was included in my bankruptcy (it was not) I have sent certified letters to dispute this and force BofA to correct what they are reporting. I have also been asked to fax my credit reports to a fax # provided by BofA. I did this in 1/18/2011 and was told it would be corrected within 2 weeks time. I checked my credit report again this month (june 2012) and found that nothing had been done. So my lender ordered a rescoring from the 3 credit reporting bureas and I supplied the HUD-1. This costs me money to fix. I was told to contact BofA because the bank was reporting this wrong not the credit agencies. I called BofA customer Service Dispute Resolution with the assistance of the Lender we spent 1.5 hrs on the phone with representatives from Customer Service, Foreclosure dept and Short Sale. I was again told the Short Sale dept had reported this in error but I would need to fax the credit reports to BofA, which we did and to scan and email them to a George.Adkins@bankofamerica.comHe said he would call me back within 5-7 business days to confirm receipt of my fax and credit report. I have tried to get him to call me (he doesn\’t give out his phone #) or respond to my emails for the last 2 weeks and again I have had no response from BofA. They are in violation of the FCRA just to begin with. Can you help? My Realtor says that this is status quo at B of A. This has gone on for a year and a half and is preventing me from buying a home and its hurting my credit.
