in december 2008 they remodified our note from $1044 too $1024. haha. my husbanmd is on oxygen and terminally ill. our income dropped substanially and we have tried for 2 yours faithly to remodify. i have showed them proof of income that we can make a house paymen t if they would lower our interest rate from 7.5. they said we did not make 12 consecutiove payments so they cannot remodify until we do. NOW, with that said that keep telling us we can appeal this decision. amd this has been goping on for 2 yrs or more. we have 3 small kids. and have begged them. we had a forclosure date for may 24 2011 and reschdules it for june 17, 2011. my husband is very sick and this stress is not heping him or any of us. thank you

In April of 2007 we received a loan from Countrywide the day before our house was going up for auction at 9.875 interest rate. In Nov of 2009 Bank of America, who is servicing the loan for Bank of New York, had my Hamp applicaion. They told me it could take up to 90 days so I called in Feb of 2010 and they told me it could take up to 180 days. I called them in May of 2010 and they told me it was in processing being considered and I should get an answer shorly. I called about every two weeks to check and each time they told me it was still being decided. I told them they had all the info and all they had to do was make a decision. They told me they would expidite it and that should speed things up. It went this way until around mid August when they told me I would have to fill out another application since so much time had passed. I told them the only reason so much time had passed was because of their stall tactics and not my fault. I also told them to go by the original application but to no avail. I went to work and that changed my income status but now I am right back where I started; unemployed and paying too much. I just received my new \”packet\” as they refer to it and don\’t want to have the same thing happen again, which I am sure will.

The lender BoA was not want to work with me to reduce my payments and has drove me into bankrupcy in order to try to save my home in Virginia. the loan was to steep and BoA is not interested in making me whole and had me pay PMI. I aim still interested in keeping my house but this loan was put upon me by fraudelent means and I was caught unaware. I did not have a lawyer present when I sign the loan papers. I had even suggested a loan payment that would be reasonable and would not cause me to dip into my retirement account until it was dry. All they were looking at is that I had a loan to pay and was not interested really in lowering my loan amount to pay off the loan. I now want to sue them.
