Started with Fremont Investment and Loan paid on time 4 years but then they sold loan to Litton who added unexplainable fees and refused to accept payment without fees. Harassed us came to the house. Tried to get `7000\’ fees re worked into the payment but they refused. Sent back payments and then things got worst. We did not know what to do so we filed Chapter 7 after trying to modify and getting refused every time. After Chapter 7 was discharged. They added an additional fee and just last month sold the loan to Ocwen. Ocwen sent two bills (we had two mortgages) one at 12.7% and the other at 8.7% that said pay 24000 now. Yet when I called they stated we had a modification in place unknown to us but it made the payment more not less. Very inconsistent information. Fremont is the holder of the deed of trust but they surrendered their licensure in NC in 2007 and there is no way to contact them. Found out Litton bought out the company. Dont know what to do. Ocwen said they would modify but sent a letter of denial without any formal request to apply for modification.

Friday, April 8th, 2011I FILLED THE MORTGAGE APPLICATION BASED ON MY FIXED DISABILITY INCOME MORTGAGE BROKER TOLD ME I FILLED IT OUT WRONG TWICE THEN TOLD ME TO SIGN BLANK MORTGAGE APPLICATION THEN WITHHOLDING UNTIL JUST HOURS BEFORE CLOSING LEAVING ME WITH NO TIME TO REVIEW IT ALSO HE PROMISED ME A FIXED 30 YEAR AT A LOW RATE BECAUSE I PUT 170,000 DOWNPAYMENT THEN HE SWITCHED TO A HIGH INTEREST ADJUSTABLE MORTGAGE THAT WAS LIKE 80 PERCENT OF MY FIXED INCOME,HE ALSO FALSIFIED MY INCOME TO TWICE WHAT I SUBMITTED WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND OR KNOWLEDGE THEY ALSO TALKED ME INTO RELEASING MY DOWNPAYMENT OF 42,500 TO THE SELLER SO THEY CAN PAY THEIR OVERDUE TAXES BECAUSE HOUSE WAS ON PROBATE AND I WOULD LOSE IT IF I DIDNT OBTAIN A MORTGAGE PUTTING ME IN A SITUATION TO ACCEPT ANYTHING THEY OFERED ME NOW IM MONTHS AWAY FROM LOSING IT ALL DUE TO DISHONEST AND PREDATORY LENDING
