During my bankruptcy proceedings, Green Tree offered to reduce my 6.5% interest rate if I kept the property. IThe process was strung out and onec the bankruptcy was completed, they would not follow through on the interest reduction.
My was due to be paid off on 5/2012, but now my lender wants me to do a settle on my mortgage and Im not sure what my best options are
national city never explained abount the new housing loan it went from 350,000 to 380,000-then sold to green green later found out that it was interested loan only that after 2 years it will kick in the principa not fair -home also has chinese drywall ac and electrical items are braking ac have to fix every six month finally got national the try to put me in harp program gave payments for six month then green tree bought out the mortgage tol that i was working ao tne harp programgreen treen told me eather pay or go into foreclosure-got attorny and after anther six month got into the harp program all late payment were to the end of the mortgage i owe at this point 388,000 there also charging me a 75 dollar late payment every month because my payweek is the secound week of the month-at this same a was demoted and lost over 20 thosand a week pay cut told me not there problem chinese drywall not there program will not pricipal home worth this amount of money will this issue could someone guide me .
The house that I purchased was over priced. I was told that the house had complete plywood floors and real wood cabinets. Later, I discovered that the house has a lot of particle board.

we had toranado damage an their insurance company gave us the run around for two months before they finally sent them the pay off an in those months we ended up getting the state insurance comission involved to make the insurance co go ahead an send the check. once they got the pay off check, they still calling me now sayin we still owe over 1500.00 in intrest an late fee cause the insurance co took their time sending the check to them….

Green Tree refuses to help me lower my monthly mtgg pymt. Been asking and complying with everything for the past 11 months. Their answers: for 4-5 \”we have not received documents\”. Then \”you do not live in your own home\”, then we can not help you with a \”forbearance\”, then \”we can not help you with a modification, but if you send a check for $56000 then we\’ll see what we can do\”, then we can not help you since there is no hardship in your life, you are up to date with your payments.
I am borrowing money every month to pay my bills, have work very hard to raise my credit but I don\’t even have money to pay for my childre\’s school. Why can\’t they lower the rate so the monthly pmts go down. Is that too much to ask nowdays. The house is worth less than the loan. Please help!
WE HAVE A COURT DATE FOR FORCLOSURE DEC 7,2011. WE FOUNDED OUT OUR MORTAGE WAS NOT WHAT WE HAD ORIGINALLY AGREED TO..THEY HAD SOLD OUR MORTAGE WITHOUT CONTACTING US..WE FOUND OUT ONLY BECAUSE WE WERE GOING TO REFINANCE, DUE TO THE ECONOMY AND MY HUSBANDS HEALTH..THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH US AT ALL, NO MODIFICATIONS, THE TITLE IS WRONG,THEY HAVE THE PROPERTY OF 2030 INCLUDED IN OUR LOAN. WHICH BELONGS TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR PROPERTY! AND THEY REFUSED TO WORK WITH HUD PER COURT ORDER…THEY HAVE TOLD US THEY DONT WORK WITH THIRD PARTIES…WE TOOK THIS TO LEGAL AIDE BACK IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR, THE ATTORNEY WHO LOOKED AT OUR LOAN, THOUGH NOT AN EXPERT IN THIS FIELD FELT OUR LOAN IS A BOGOS LOAN…IT HAS TWO SERVICING COMPANIES ON IT…HUD THE LAST TIME WE HAD IT PULLED UP, SAID MORTAGE COMPANY REFUSES TO WORK WITH THEM…
I have paid them on time every month. They have been completely unhelpful and have raised my blood pressure repeatedly by lying to me, hanging up on me and generally be antagonistic. They claim they bought my 2nd mortgage from Irwin. I just took them at their word and started paying them. However, we had a small insurance claim, nothing serious just a busted pipe and needed to repair it and replace the carpet. The insurance company Tower Hill was wonderful. The primary mortgage company Wells Fargo too. However, Green Tree insisted they must have the check in their escrow and would pay the bills. Even though I had already paid the bills and made the necessary repairs. They just wanted to get their hands on the cash. I cancelled the check. Filed a lower claim amount and took a loss rather than hand the check over to the theives that run Green Tree Servicing. Now I have a refinance on my primary mortgage in the works because of a federal program for home owners that are upside down. But Green Tree is being uncooperative and I have been fighting with them since mid-Sept and cannot get a simple letter of approval of suborndination from this company to allow us to go forward with the refi. Every month costs me money on my primary loan. They have told me repeated lies (we never received the request when I have proof they signed for it, the request was cancelled because I wanted cash out of the loan., etc) and forced me to pay them $200 upfront for a letter that they will not write. They have cost me tens of hours of pay, sitting on hold trying to clear this up and so much frustration that I am considering destroying my own credit (file bankrupcy when I don\’t need to) just so they don\’t get away with this behavior!
