The homeowner was looking for a little money to do repairs on the home and was loaned way more than the home was worth at payments and an interest rate that was not what was originally discussed. Was informed that she would have to pay an outrageous \”loan application fee\” if she did not accept the loan as written. Her fixed income was approximately $800 and her mortgage payments ballooned to over $500 not including all the added fees.
I was trick into a subprime loan and being well employed and a retired vet I knew it should have been a prime loan, although my monthly payment remained the same they began to charge fees that started to eat the equity out of the home, they also pressured me to enclude my cars in the refinance but failed to pay them off fully. once I identified these problems they simply acknowledge it and continued business as normal. I was able to get out with another refinance but not before I had lost about 35.000 thousands that put me underwater. How can something like this happen in this country
Currently in a loan mod, the mod has been approved and have been paying for the last six months, but the mod took 3 years and meanwhile I was paying at a higher interest rate, and those payments were not applied against principal balance

I orig bought home in April 2006 and with so many repairs I refinanced with Homecomings for a better rate and second in December 2006 shortly after that Note was sold to GMAC then to Deutshe Bank and now ETS of Virginia I was refused a Mod-even afterBK and now realize that this is Fraud and a Scam!~~
