I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT A FOREBEARANCE BUT THEY SAID WE WERE NOT ELIGIBLE AT THE TIME. THEY SAID WE HAD TO BE BEHIND ON OUR PAYMENTS WE WERE TRYING NOT TO BE.
we had an escrow account to pay taxes and insurances, til last year gmac stated that we did not have one, Where did it go? never got an answer. they reconstructed our loan which included taxes.(But we had taxes every yr before last yr that came out) now we pay 500 dollars more than the original from GMAC. we cannot afford, and gmac will not remodify loan. help!
In 5 year they have requested my financial info. 27 times.
We have tried to call them and ask for help because our mortgage is higher than our home value, struggling to make payments due to loss of income.

I purchased this home in 1987 & it was my principle residence until 2002. I moved to South Berwick, ME and attempted to move back into this property. The locks were changed and the house was winterized. GMAC sent me the keys once & changed the locks a week later. I was able to live there one week. I had to go back to my other house because they drained the pipes and made the home unlivable. I am a robosigning victim of Jeffrey Stephan. I got cancer in 2009 & filed Ch 13 because of health & separation. GMAC knew I wanted to live in my ORIGINAL and permanent residence, but would not let me go to my own house. I was kicked out before the judicial foreclosure. My attorney told me I would never win against their firm & to consent to them having house. I did not know I was a robosigning victim. He only cared about making money in Ch 13 & not holding on to assets. I don\’t see the MERS number but it is a MERS loan.
they just lent more that worth with no income verification.next day notary came up and done.im self employed never asked for anything.
