This letter is in reference to a conversation and suggestion from Senator Ayottes office. This mortgage is for my primary address at 51 Tamarack Rd in Lee NH 03861. Since 9/11 I have been called up to active duty from the reserves on multiple occasions and have done over 4 years of active duty since 9/11. Each deployment I took a large paycut from my civilian employer. This February 2013 I will be retired from the military.
My original mortgage was for $191,000 at 4.5%. While on leave I signed a 2nd mortgage that increased the principal and the interest. I was forced to sign this mortgage under threat of foreclosure even though that is illegal under the servicemembers relief act, but didn\’t have a choice as I was overseas. Citi also charged me late fees, attorney fees etc, some were corrected but others weren’t. Sen. Ayotte suggested I make this offer to your company, that my mortgage of $191,000 minus what I have already paid be reinstated at the 4.5% fixed rate for a 30 year mortgage.
I have applied multiple times for reinstatement and modification but I keep getting information for Loan 2001615331, to a Stanley MCintosh and Rosalinda Cooper from 230 W 132nd St NY NY 10027.
My property is no longer worth $191,000 there are 2 homes for sale on my street and have been for many years, The housing market has collapsed since purchasing my home the well has tested for arsenic, the race track that use to race 1 night a week is now 3 times a week during the summer which is comparable to living at an airport with noise, the winter storms knock out power for days at a time, and the property taxes are quite excessive. If you accept my offer I would have no problem making these payments. I am a single father to my 8 year old Son and if we lose this home we would be homeless.

Citi mortgage sold our loan to PennyMac January 2011 while in the process of modificationl.PennyMac is now trying to breach our Modification Agreement and raise our fixed interest rate to an adjustable. Many more details and I have all paperwork.

my wife was injured in2008 and went on permanent disability, we pleaded with citi to modify our loan and they said no, refused to send us a letter as to why, and we had to file chapter 7 which discharged 10/29/2009. even though the mortgage was includeded we are being charged with chapter 7 and a foreclosure, we never rec., any forsclosure information/paper work.

I applied for the HAMP program in April/May 2009, made my \”trial period\” payments for a year and a half and one day received my payment back with a \”as you know you are in foreclosure\” notice. My loan was interest only, I may have short paid the interest, but now I owe 20K more than when it all started. I would never have asked for help if i would have known it would result in this AND now 14 months later, they are still reporting me to the credit bureaus negatively and I have never missed a payment.

Had begun foreclosure, but paid reinstatement 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for unapplied funds to cause reinstatement. Received email yesterday stating funds have been applied and are viewable online. STILL SHOWING UNAPPLIED FUNDS.

My lender re-financed my home in 2006 with a Fixed Rate Home Equity Loan for over 100% of the value and told me it was a \”kind of mortgage\” since it was the only encumbrance on the property. Now I get no joy from them. After filing a successful Chapter 7, but keeping the house out of it, they claim they never received my paper work. I asked for a loan mod and was foreclosed on without ANY NOTICE AT ALL, while waiting for the short sale to be approved. I found out when a neighbor called and told me people were removing my possessions from the house. I was in Florida at the time.

Attepting to have Citibank place me on th e \”Save your home California\” program for six months, now the person assigned by Citibank is unreachable. I have submitted all documentation (twice), and have never heard back, I\’ve sold everything to cover my mortgage, and get a call (from Citi) what are these deposits to your account? Which was the last I heard from them, constant e-mails are left unanswered, calls are placed in a round-about. I qualify under all laws regarding this relief, is CitiMortgage?
