They make it almost impossable to pay them consistant on the internet. There has been payments not posted for long periods of time. Never post ontime even when paying on the internet via bank draft. MGC mortgage is the worst and I wish they had never purchased my loan. Oh and I almost forgot the escrow payment went up by 150 dollars a month claiming a shortage.

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011I applied 2 years ago for a modification. I was told to NOT make payments inasmuch as they would not be accepted. I went through family loss and then disability and my finances became a challenge. Over the last 2 years I HAVE DONE EVERY SINGLE THING CITIMORTGAGE HAS INSTRUCTED ME TO DO, I am now behind over $50,000.00 dude to their incompetence. Citimortgage has lost my paperwork several times, sent me wrong information and came right out and told me that my file is such a mess, know one wants to deal with it (conversation dated and representative noted). I have applied 6 times and each time they loose paperwork, send me letters for paperwork already sent. I have over 150 documented phone calls and who and what was said. I was told again on February 7th 2011 that I qualified for a modification and that the sale date of my home would be postponed. There have been several communications with Citimortgagte since 2/7/11, all documented. My home is to be sold on February 28, 2011. I spoke to a Manager this morning and have to start the process of the modification all over again. I dont know what else to do, this has caused me immeasurable stress and financial harm. I have everything documented.

Friday, February 18th, 2011when the economy began to drop so did my husbands hours.we applied for the obamma program a few times.they kept telling me that we did not have different papers in and we sent them over and over between faxing and mailing them and they would still say we don\’t qualify.just given a complete run around.and where they say if you get behind they will move a payment to the end of the loan…try that.it does not happen.we had to do a bankruptcy after around a year of this game.we have been trying to reaffirm our mortgage agreement since last nov. before our bankruptcy was final and they are still refusing.they refuse to show our payment to credit reporting agencies, they are keeping us in their bankruptcy department ,our payment has to go through that same department, and instead of giving us a monthly bill in time to pay the are sending a black and white statement so late in the month that we have to use one from prior month to pay on time.my attorney has contacted them repeated.

Thursday, February 17th, 2011My husband and I began mod process 11/09 and were passed from one person to the next telling us we would get it and then telling us to start over. Our payment had been increased by Chase because they paid our insurance twice and other bills were overwhelming at about 8000 a month. My husband had steady income for over 10 years but we could not afford a mortgage of 3100 a month. He was killed in Aug 2010 and I was told that they would not foreclose on me allowing me to become financially stable or pay in full from wrongful death lawsuit. Then they put a sale date telling me two days before xmas. I am filing bankruptcy, and they have told me once again they will give me mod, and then put a sale date saying its inevetible and that they didnt get my mod because they are overwhelmed with paperwork. I have taken tremendous steps towards financial stability in the 6 months since my husband passed and will be able to afford my home that we put all of our savings into and my three boys can stay in the home they lived with their father rather than be put out on the street.

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011I tried repeatedly to have them adjust my loan to what the house was worth with no results. They said the new Obama laws did not apply to them. the house was appraised at 110,000.oo dollars and when the housing market fell it was only worth about 60,000.00. I could have gotten a loan for 65,000.00 to buy my house from them, but they would not take it. They forclosed and sold it thru a realtor fo 59,000.00. They would not even talk to me about selling it to me. They used their own appraisel people to set the original value but when the housing market fell they refused to adjust the fair market value for the house
