I was a Realtor and I generally made over $225,000.00 per year until the mortgage mess started in May 2007. I was never late on my payments. When I no longer could loans so that people could buy a home, I then was making no money other than my retirement income. I am 75 years old and I want to stay in my home until I die. I called the mortgage company, America Servicing Center and explained my situation to them and asked them to give me a loan modification with a payment that I could pay with my retirement income. I asked that the payment not exceed $2,500.00. They had me send them papers for a loan modification 17 different times. They wrote me numerous letters telling me that they wanted to work with me. They even told me to send them a short sale for my home and I did. They did not even process it. Even after the foreclosed on me Feb 14, 2011, they sent me a letter in March and ssid that they wanted to work with me for a loan modification. After they forclosed on me they went to Court for an Unlawful Detainer. I am still in my house. I got an attorney who filed a law suit against the bank and a Les Pendins against my home. In February 2012, the attorney that was supposed to be representing me agreed with the Lender to non suite my law suite and the Judge agreed and I was never even consulted that this was what my attorney was planning to do. I just want my home with a payment that I can pay until I die and I will even will my home to them. Just help me to get my home back.
