I did not have to show proof of income. I was behind on my payments they said they could help me save my,house. It was a 3 year balloon payment. they said they would put the fisrt years in a savings account and pay it to build my credit. They put 3500 in a savings account for property upgrades ie gutters. they still have that. When the year was up,I got a notice my payments would be 2000.00 a month. I only make 1800.00 a month take home. If I would have know the payment amount,I would not have agreed. I would have sold my house at that time and got the equity and boght something out right.
