we bought this house in 2006 at 650.000 ,and with months the value sunk to 500,000. we have maintained our responsibilty for the payments all this time. We relied on Meriwest to appraise the value of the house, and they were wrong. They should hold resonsibility for that mistake , not us. We are the only one\’s held hostage by payments for a house they appraised , 150.000 dollars above its value. Now they wont reappraise the house, and credit us the differnce, and refinace the loan based on its current value. They even refuse to refinace to help us lower the interest, due to our lower income . We have maintained the loan payments on time for over 5 years, they have no right to deny us some relief. They should be held responsible for the drop in value , just the same as we are. We went in with them on this house as partners. Why are we held hostage only? We\’re loosing , and they are winning ,
