Countrywide did not apply all payments on our first and second mortgage. Every time we completed a modification package our loans have sold. They refuse to supply me the orginal assignments of each transfer of the loan.

This is the letter I sent to the Attorney General…
Hi Mr. Hood,
First I want to say thank you for fighting for all of us who have been wronged in this
situation. I know you truly care about the people. I have submitted my claim on line
and I am going to mail it in as well. I was apprehensive about filing. The process of
loosing our home was devastating as I\’m sure it is…f..o. r everyone. My son who was 12 at
the time, had to have major reconstructive surgery that could only be done in
Birmingham with the best doctors. We lived 3 hours aw~y. We almost lost him after the
surgery and he was air lifted back to Birmingham for a lengthy stay at St. Vincent\’s
Hospital there. After a year of him being in a wheel chair and therapy\’ 3 days a week
and almost weekly visits to Birmingham, we had no choice but to try a loan
modification due to our extreme hardship. Bank of America assured us due-to our
situation we would definitely be able to do the modification. My husband and I both
worked and were struggling to keep our home. In Sept 2010, my husband lost his job
unexpectedly. This of course was devastating. We knew we could not pay the high
house note we had. Again, Bank of America told us to do the loan modification. They
even told us NOT to pay our house note while in the process. After many months of
calling and calling them, only for them to tell us it was still in the process and it takes
time, they foreclosed on our home without any notice of whether or not the
modification was approved or denied and without any notice we were being foreclosed
on. After everything we had been through and still managed to work and try to pay our
bills, this is how we were treated. I went to the foreclosure court hearing. I begged for
just 30 more days so we would not have to move our two children out of their schools
until the end of the school year. I also told the court of Bank of America\’s tactics and of
them not giving us any notice of the process taking place. The Judge made it clear on
court record he felt I needed an attorney to challenge the foreclosure. At the time, I
literally almost had a nervous break down due to loosing our home which we had
worked so hard and for so long for. I couldn\’t bare to address it anymore. In fact I
received the information from your office months ago and it has taken me this long to
respond. It is just such a painful situation, I don\’t want to-get my hopes up and not get
the results we need. Due to the foreclosure, we filed bankruptcy and lost everything
including our two vehicles. My husband got a great job this year and we have been
rebuilding. We basically pay a house note now to rent a small apartment. I watch my
youngest son cry all the time because he wants to go back \”home.\” Because this
process ruined our credit we can not purchase a home. My prayer is that in this
settlement we may get what our house is worth and the amount that will compensate for the loss of our home, our credit, our lives as we knew it. I don\’t think any amount of
money could ever do that, but hopefully we will receive enough to purchase a home
again soon. The price of a home like the one we had in the our son\’s school district is
around $250000. I can not tell you how much what you are doing means to my family!!

I HAVE LOTS OF PAPERS TO MAIL YOU. MY HOUSE WAS SECURITIZED.
2007 I sent in a home Owners Insurance policy with a letter stating this was the insurance I chose for my home after the Hurricane Ivan insurance issues came up. I spoke to the Insurance dept of Chase as my insurance is escrowed. They acceptted it 2 weeks later paid a different insurance and put both on my escrow acct and raised my house payment to $1100.00. Their resolution for their mistake was to place second insurance balance to the end of my loan and accurred late fees on my monthly statement. I had major surgery 2009 and got behind 6 weeks(2 months) called to make the payments up and they threatened foreclosure and said I needed to go through a modification , that I qualified but had to be inarrears with my payments to get mod. 9 forebarance payments in their holding accnt. 14 denied Mods. and 3 years later with 3 different law firms to assist and still nothing but reapply for mod tosave your home. Chase refused any more forebarance payments and wouldn\’t accept any pay payments on my mortgage after firsy Mod denial.
Hard to make contact with right person; get conflicting answers; they\’re not high on finding me a solution

My x husband and I originally did loan together- We divorced and through the divorce we went in arrears. I have negotiated over 6 times, first a forberance agreement which was satisfied and I was promised a modification upon completion- they did not give me one. BofA said I needed him to quick claim property to myself and I had to also provide that I had been awarded 100% vested community interest via court order from our divorce- I did mutliple times. I qualify for a modification and have ample income to support a modified payment and have provided all documentation and BofA will not remove him from the loan. I even tried to do a deed in lieu and just be done with them and they refused saying he had to sign off on evreything- My x has no legally vested interest nor does he have any community interest and they wanted him to sign the deed in lieu and give him 1/2 of HAFA funds that are specific for occupant relocation- He hasnt resided in this state in 10 years.Bank of America is pathetic, absolutley pathetic!
I started the mod after my lay off, in June 2012, on 11/19/2012 i was told to ignore the foreclosure letters, my denial came on wednesday, my pay 10,000 in Lou of on Fri, and my sale date was cert mailed to me on sat. I tried the save my home California, but am no longer for unemployment, and my wife alone doesn\’t make enough for help from them.
they filed 3 xs and our attrny won each time/we refinanced to put ins&taxes in payment i was on workers comp at time of loan i requested disability ins in case i lost use of arm/hand due to injury instead we were sold pmi and told it was disability ins when in fact it wasn its been years but we got our request back in the mail 6 years later it was never serviced which they say it never existed maybe it was registerd under mers joke
